Mohican Hills Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Jeromesville, Ohio.
The course was designed by Jack Kidwell and Mike Hurdzan. The front nine was open for play in 1972 and the back nine was later opened in the Spring of 1976.
The course features picturesque views with four sets of tees accommodating players of all levels. The front nine greens are large and undulating giving the golfer a favorable chance to reach the green in regulation. The golf course is for fast challenging greens. The smaller back nine greens have the same undulating features of the front, but require more accurate shot selection.
Mohican Hills also features acres of open, player friendly fairways. They are contoured and maintained at 5/8" for optimum playing conditions.
The golf course has 18 large strategically placed bunkers throughout the course to add to the golfer's challenge. Water features at the golf course include ponds at #1, #2, #5, #15, and #17 with an active stream running throughout the back nine.
A practice putting/chipping green is located beside the clubhouse and a 250 yard driving range is located near the maintenance building. Wildlife on the course
Challenging Holes
#5 Par 4 400 yards - This golf hole requires a good drive and second shot to a large undulating two tiered green guarded by two greenside bunkers.
#9 Par 4 377 yards - The smallest green on the front nine is flanked by three bunkers. Walking off this green with two putts is quite an accomplishment.
#10 Par 5 497 yards - This is a classic risk or reward golf hole. A well placed tee shot will determine your fate.
#16 Par 4 322 yards - Although this is a short dogleg left, it can present the most challenging putting on the golf course. With the recent enlargement of the green, be sure to take enough club on your approach shot.
Picturesque Holes
#2 Par 5 479 yards - You can get a shot back on this short Par 5. With out of bounds on the left and a large pond located near the green two good shots are a must.
#7 Par 4 387 yards - A short Par 4 with a tree lined fairway, this hole gives you beautiful views of the surrounding hills at Mohican.
#12 Par 4 376 yards - Your tee shot seems to go forever. A 100 foot elevation drop from tee to green makes this Mohican's most scenic hole.
#17 Par 3 158 yards - Dont let the yardage fool you, take an extra club on this Par 3 hole. Dont hit your tee shot fat you'll end up in the pond.

I've played here for a long time and have always had an excellent experience, based on the course layout, the wonderful views, the kindness of the staff, etc. I am very lucky this course is very close to home for me. I definitely recommend this course to anyone genuinely interested in a good golf experience. There is exactly nothing wrong with Mohican Hills.

Jack Kidman design, Jack was Ohio's best kept secret. I play everything within 50 miles of Canton, and this is my favorite by far.

Always looking for new courses to play even if its a bit of a drive. I have played many courses and I have to say Mohican Hills was quite a surprise. Beautiful layout, challenging greens, and very nice staff. We came at the peak of fall and every hole had a magnificent view. Each green had a challenge. The course and the greens were in such wonderful shape for being the end of the season. I will definietly be back to play this course. They call it "A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH" and I understand why!!!
